1.Applique: 

This is a combination of tackle twill and embroidery. Any crest can be created by this method regardless of the complexity. The largest areas of color are cut and sewn together from tackle twill and the details are embroidered onto the twill. This is the ultimate in quality and durability. Most professional sports teams have their cresting done in this method. The cost is higher than other methods.

 2.Sublimation: 

In this method the crest, lettering and numbers as well as the jersey design itself are all dyed into the fabric at the time the garment is manufactured. Dye sublimation lends itself to all types of crest designs and holds detail extremely well. You can create jersey designs and special effects that are not possible with a traditional cut-and-sew process and embroidery.

 

The Process: Dye sublimation process uses special heat-sensitive dyes to print graphics, text and virtually any image onto special transfer paper. The paper is then placed on the pre-cut fabric and both are placed into a heat press. When the heating cycle is completed, the image on the paper has been transferred to the item and has actually reformed into or underneath the surface. If you run your finger across the surface of a sublimated garment and you will feel nothing but the fabric.

At high temperature, the solid dye vaporizes into a gas without ever becoming a liquid. The same high temperature opens the pores of the fabric and allows the dye vapor to enter. When the temperature cools, the pores close and the gas reverts to a solid state trapping the dye into the fiber of the fabric. It has now become a permanent part of the fabric.

A dye-sublimation transfers color into material and this color change becomes permanent. 

Garments decorated with dye sublimation transfer cannot be removed like images on shirts decorated with screen printing. Again, this is not ink that sits on top of the fabric; it is a dye that penetrates the fiber of the fabric.  3.Sublimated Twill: 

We can also dye sublimate on a sewn twill patch for a professional look at a significantly lower cost than appliqué. The sublimated twill crest is a flat price for unlimited colors and there is no set-up charge for this method. This is the best of both worlds, a professional look at a lower cost.

 4.Tackle Twill: 

Gives a professional look and feel. In this method, your design is created by sewing cut pieces of twill fabric together and stitching the finished crest to the jersey. This method lends itself to less complex designs, lettering and monogram-style crests.

 5.Laser Etching:

This technique gives a dimensional feel to your tackle twill as well as a subtle but unique decorating factor. Etching is made directly on the surface of the material so certain materials and garments are better suited for Laser Etching techniques.
